Hello
I feel privileged to be invited in to witness one of life’s most miraculous moments. Working with pregnant people and their families to help them discover what their ideal birth looks like and then put a plan in place to help them achieve that when possible is my passion. Nothing is more critical than a healthcare team supporting the delivery type you want to experience. I would love to meet you for a free meet and greet session (virtually or in-person) and see if we would be a match.
My Story
I spent my formative years in Madagascar, where my mother was the only nurse for miles. At a young age, I had the pleasure of accompanying her as she traveled to remote villages, treating patients and helping with labor and delivery. Sometimes, when labor had complications, people would come to our house and I’d help my mother as the baby was delivered at our home. That unique worldview drives my passion for educating and supporting people through the miracle of birth.

When I’m not being a Doula, I love spending time with my husband, adult kids, and dogs. I also enjoy cooking, writing, gardening, and traveling!

The name Le Petit Baobab comes from my favourite tree in Madagascar. Also known as ‘The Tree of Life’, the baobab is native to mainland Africa and Madagascar. Living for thousands of years, they are a symbol of wisdom, endurance, and community.
